A handsome antique brass planter or jardinière with richly embossed floral and fruit decoration, flanked by bold lion's head ring handles. The scalloped lower body and decorative paw feet give the piece wonderful presence, while the warm aged brass patina adds timeless character.
Perfect as a cachepot for an orchid, plant or topiary, a centerpiece, or displayed on its own as a decorative accent. The interior shows expected age-related oxidation from prior use as a planter, consistent with its intended purpose.
In very good vintage condition with attractive age-related patina, light surface wear, and oxidation to the interior.  Stamped as shown on the underside.
