A beautiful antique cobalt blue cut-to-clear glass scent bottle, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. The richly colored cobalt overlay has been expertly cut back to reveal clear glass beneath, creating a striking faceted pattern that catches the light from every angle.
The bottle is fitted with an ornate embossed silver lid featuring scrolling foliate decoration. While the lid bears no visible hallmarks, it has the appearance and quality of sterling silver.  
A lovely addition to a vanity, dressing table, or collection of fine antique scent bottles.
 
Condition: Very good antique condition. The glass is free of cracks and retains its original brilliance. There are a few tiny flea bites to the underside of the base, consistent with age and use, and the bottle is missing its interior stopper. The unmarked silver hinged lid functions properly and exhibits small, age-appropriate dents along with a pleasing antique patina.
