A striking antique Dutch silver-mounted comport featuring a richly colored cobalt blue glass bowl embellished with elegant gilt floral decoration and a softly scalloped rim. The bowl is mounted on a finely detailed .833 standard Dutch silver stem and foot, bearing the retailer’s mark of P. De Meyer.
The comport is in good antique condition, with light wear to the silver and gilt decoration consistent with age and use. The glass remains clear and vibrant, with no noted chips or cracks.
