Early 20th-Century Louis XV Style Commode / Vanity Table
A charming Louis XV style commode, early 20th century, also referred to as a vanity or sewing table. This petite piece features elegant serpentine lines, ormolu mounts, and hand-painted porcelain plaques. The hinged lid opens to a fitted interior that originally held a mirror. Very good overall condition with only minor veneer chips and small imperfections; one porcelain plaque appears to have an old repair that is scarcely noticeable.
