A beautiful 19th-century English blue and white transferware platter featuring the Royal Cottage, Windsor Great Park pattern. The detailed pastoral scene depicts the cottage within an idyllic landscape of gardens, water and swans, framed by an elaborate floral border and gracefully shaped rim.
This pattern is associated with the Staffordshire pottery of Thomas Till, although this example is unmarked. Its generous size makes it especially striking displayed on a stand, hung on a wall, or added to a collection of antique blue and white transferware.
Condition: Good antique condition with no chips or cracks observed. Crazing throughout, consistent with age.
