19th-century French Haviland porcelain plate, made for the prestigious New York retailer Gilman Collamore.

Each plate features a different hand-painted wildlife scene, including two birds and an atmospheric wolf beneath a crescent moon. The central scenes are surrounded by rich cobalt blue borders lavishly decorated with gilt flowering branches and foliage. The paintings bear an artist's gilt monogram.

Marked on the reverse “Haviland & Co. / Pour Gilman Collamore, Union Square, New-York,” along with the H & Co. mark.

Very good antique condition with minor wear to the gilding consistent with age.
