An elegant vintage brass jardinière featuring richly cast scrolling acanthus decoration, beaded borders, and decorative paw feet. The rectangular form retains its original removable metal liner, making it ideal for displaying orchids,  plants, shells or seasonal arrangements.
Bearing the "Artistry in Metal" trade mark, this handsome planter is attributed to Irving Schwartz, a New York distributor of fine decorative metalwares during the early 20th century. The warm aged brass finish and crisp classical ornament make it equally at home on a mantel, dining table, console, or windowsill.

Condition: Good vintage condition with spots of rust and with wear to the brass finish. Retains its original removable liner with expected oxidation and wear from age and use.
